Question 1

What is Delulu?

Accepted Answer

A full-screen photo app where every post gets one honest call from the crowd: Solulu or Delulu. No likes, no algorithm ranking your worth - just the verdict.

Question 2

How do I create a Delulu account?

Accepted Answer

Enter your phone number, we text you a 6-digit code, and you're in. There's no separate password or email signup - your phone number is your login.

Question 3

Do I need a real photo?

Accepted Answer

A profile photo isn't required to finish signup, but your posts do need an actual image - that's the whole point of the app.

Question 4

What is Solulu?

Accepted Answer

The positive verdict - ✨ Solulu means it's landing.

Question 5

What is Delulu?

Accepted Answer

The other verdict - 🫠 Delulu means it isn't landing, at least for that person.

Question 6

Can I change my call?

Accepted Answer

Yes - settling again on the same post replaces your previous call rather than adding a second one.

Question 7

How do I create a post?

Accepted Answer

Tap the create button, upload a photo, pick interests/prompt, add a caption, and post. Hashtags in your caption (like #streetwear) automatically become tags.

Question 8

How do I archive a post?

Accepted Answer

Open the post, tap the ⋮ menu, and choose Archive. Archived posts are hidden from everyone but you, and you can unarchive them any time from the same menu.

Question 9

Can I restore an archived post?

Accepted Answer

Yes - unarchive it from the same ⋮ menu on the post, or from your profile's posts tab.

Question 10

How do I delete a post?

Accepted Answer

From the same ⋮ menu, choose Delete. Unlike archiving, this is permanent - the post and its verdicts/comments are gone for good.

Question 11

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. You're signed out everywhere immediately, and the account enters a 30-day grace period.

Question 12

What happens when I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

For 30 days, signing back in fully restores everything. After that, your profile is anonymized (name, phone, bio, avatar, and interests cleared) - your posts and comments stay up, just attributed to "Deleted user."

Question 13

How do I deactivate my account?

Accepted Answer

Delulu doesn't currently have a separate deactivate-only option - requesting deletion in Settings is also how you pause your account, since signing back in within 30 days cancels it and restores everything exactly as it was.

Question 14

Can I reactivate my account?

Accepted Answer

Yes - just sign back in within 30 days of requesting deletion and it's automatically reactivated.

Question 15

How do I block someone?

Accepted Answer

From their profile or one of their posts, use the options menu to block them. Blocking removes any follow relationship in either direction and hides each other's content.

Question 16

How do I report someone?

Accepted Answer

Use the report option on their profile, choose a reason, and submit - optionally with more detail.

Question 17

How do I report a post?

Accepted Answer

Open the post's options menu and choose Report, then pick the reason that fits.

Question 18

Who can see my posts?

Accepted Answer

Anyone - your posts are public, including to people who aren't signed in and open a shared link. Your phone number is never shown publicly.

Question 19

What information is public?

Accepted Answer

Your username, display name, avatar, bio, posts, comments, and Solulu/Delulu tallies. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

Question 20

How can I request deletion of my information?

Accepted Answer

Delete your account from Settings, or email us using the contact form on the Help page.
